Born in Virginia, Richard Day Gore pursued his passion for several arts first to New York City and later to Southern California. Along the way he's made stops in the fashion, publishing, and events industries.

 

A writer and musician as well as a visual artist, he considers himself primarily a storyteller, as reflected in his acclaimed VALERIE'S FAMILY SECRETS and ALTERNATIVE GODS.

 

Living as a cancer survivor helps drive Richard's creativity, underpinning his work with an often unsettling sense that the watcher is being watched.
